Geocache Description:

park and grab, camoed micro

Nice little wayside with picnic tables, grills, shade and plenty of parking available. Easy access to the AT and parking to start a day of hiking to some of the other caches in the vicinity.

If you're heading into Amherst and want a trip into "real" Appalachia, take a short detour down Mt. Horeb Rd.

The cache: It's a camouflaged micro so you're going to need tweezers to get out the log. It is a park and grab but we try to make p&gs a little more challenging while keeping them handicap accessible. Could only get accuracy down to about 20 feet on the co-ordinates because even though it's a fairly clear area the GPS was kind of squirrelly so we're going to call this a 3 and see how it goes.
