This is the 21st Annual Earth Week Cleanup that Metro Beach has hosted.
The event takes place from 9am until 2pm on Saturday April 16.
REMEMBER, ENTRANCE TO THE PARK IS FREE TODAY!!!!
So come on out, help clean-up the park a bit then find some of the other caches here if you have not done them yet!
YOU NEED TO PRE-REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT WITH THE NATURE CENTER STAFF!!!!
CALL 1-586-463-4332 TO GET DIRECT TO THE NATURE CENTER!!!!
If you can't get through to the Nature Center you can call either 1-586-463-4581 or 1-800-477-3172 for the park office.
Calling to pre-register will get you a free lunch from the park!!!!
MAKE SURE YOU TELL NATURE CENTER STAFF YOU ARE PART OF THE "GEOCACHING GROUP" WHEN YOU CALL!!!!
This will keep our group all together as there will be different sites that will be cleaned up that day.
DID I MENTION ENTRANCE TO THE PARK IS FREE TODAY!!!!!!
We will meet at the MAINTENANCE BUILDING at 8:30 to get our instructions for the day. Tools will also be handed out at that time. A map will be attached to this page at a later date.
PLEASE get there earlier and were some old junky clothes as who knows what we will be doing!
Past events helped clean up the lagoon and the shoreline as well as the nature trails.
