Geocache Description:

The final cache overlooks the Northpointe East subdivision storm water detention basin. The first cache places you in a good position to PNG the final cache. Enjoy my little neighborhood. Bring a pen.

Congratulations to ManofSteel73, FTF and Robin_1, 2TF on this caches day of publishing! Well done!!

A storm water detention basin is a place to temporarily hold excess water when the natural drainage system cannot handle the rainwater runoff. When the Northpointe East subdivision was built in 2002, this detention basin was built to aid in the drainage of rainwater to prevent flooding. It is part of the larger Cypress Creek flood control system. While dry most of the time, this basin will catch and hold millions of gallons of water during periods of heavy rain.
