It's been a couple years since we went to the Augusta area and the
CSRA Geocachers have graciously offered to entertain us for the day
at Mistletoe State Park Hot Dogs and Hamburgers are on the menu, as
well as a great game of human checkers being organized by Pilgrims
Progress. There are currently 15 caches within the park boundry's,
that sounds like a target rich enviroment.
Some of the local cachers will be available to lead a couple of
group hikes on the trails out to find some of the more challenging
caches. The CSRA folks have arranged for us to have the shelter all
day, so it can be a excellent meeting place before the event if you
want to meet up with some geo-buddies for a little pre-meeting
hunt. The shelter we have is fully enclosed so we will be great to
go rain or shine.
We look forward to seeing everyone there, and please check back
periodically for any updates. the Coords should be within 100 feet,
but we will narrow them down very soon.
