Geocache Description:

#1 in the Professor King Series

CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES
A puzzle cache located on private property.

Born in Cincinnati, young Sinclair Holden King was orphaned at an early age and moved to South Carolina to live with his aunt and uncle. After high school, the family moved to Massachusetts where he graduated from a nearby institute of higher learning. After moving to Oregon, Professor King faithfully wrote to his relatives back east until his death in early 1963.
 

Cache container is an old mailbox.

Short term parking is usually available on the east side of the road just north of the final coordinates. Parking is also available in the driveway north of the cache. Please leave room to get by.

Occupants of the residence(s) within sight of the cache are aware of it's presence and have agreed not to shoot.
