Zaks walk Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CrispinsCrew: We thought there was no chance of anything untoward happening to this cache - but we were wrong - the farmer has been in with a digger and there is no evidence of the cache (or the area where it was placed). We have a few interesting ideas for a replacement but have decided to archive Zaks walk for now - look out for Zaks walk 2 !!

Geocache Description:

A nice walk at the edge of the village of Morchard Bishop with stunning views over to Dartmoor at the cache site.

This cache started off with a different name, but when we went out to check a possible hide Zak our Geodog knew where he was going as he is walked here often, so we changed the name !
This is a walk following a public footpath. Although the footpath continues further on we thought this spot was a nice place to stop and take in the views (or have a picnic), and returning the way you came it would take about 45 mins.
The walk takes you through fields and small copses with a few hills on the way, there is also a small stream which Zak loves to paddle in. The walk is clearly signposted and now has new easy to use gates. It is not really suitable for buggies. It can also get a bit muddy at times. You are looking for a small tupperware box with a few farm animals for swaps, also with a log book and pen. £1 for FTF.
Suggested parking at N 50.51.210 W 003.44.577, a stones throw from one of our other caches.
Happy caching.
