I was coming back down from the ridge a couple of weeks ago after a successful geocaching hunt when I spotted this big rock in the midst of a grassy clearing. I walked over to it and spotted a decent hiding place for a cache. However, I didn't have a micro with me, so I had to return with one.
The cache is located just over a quarter mile away from the nearest parking, and the trail can be muddy after a heavy rain. Please be careful of your footing. Also, I spotted a letterbox hide in an obvious spot not too far away from this cache, so you can make this a "two-fer" hunt if you're into letterboxing.
Please be careful to close the plastic baggie containing the log completely so that the log doesn't get soaked and to rehide the cache as well as you found it (or even better).
