Geocache Description:

This is the seventh installment in the "Spring Training" series I plan on hiding this month. Not only has spring training officially started for MLB (Go Giants!), but us cachers could use some good practice with spring being right around the corner.

Alright, how could I publish a series of caches in honor of spring training - for both baseball and geocaching ;) - without recognizing the Oakland A's? The Giants may be my team, but the A's are my American League team. Plus, I fully recognize that I'm placing caches on Athletic turf here. Gotta keep everyone happy!

This whole area up here is so gorgeous. I often go for runs up and down Paseo. There are a lot of cool walking paths (keep in mind there is no parking immediately next to the cache, so don't even think about it!) and with Mission Peak as your backdrop, there is plenty to gawk at.

Congrats to kayshaLOVE and bigmunchy for the FTF!

As of 3/7/11, updated container. Now slightly larger than the original. Have at it!

P.S. There is a crosswalk less than a block away, so no complaining about almost getting run over ;)
