Geocache Description:

It's interesting the things you find in the woods. Although I'd visited Cranberry Lake a handful of times, I didn't know about this specific location until I read about it in a book that's focused on highlighting abandoned structures within the Lower Hudson Valley. What you see at this spot may take you by surprise, especially in its contrast to the nearby surroundings bearing northeast.

FYI: The gates to Cranberry Lake are open from 9-4, however the park is open from dawn-dusk.
