"Today, Whatipu is covered with waahi tapu [sacred sites]. Of
the five remaining pa sites, Pararaha Point Pa is the largest and
best preserved in the Waitakere Ranges.
While visitors are welcome to explore these sites, they are not all
easily accessible and may require some bush-wrangling to
uncover."

It's no wonder this site is well preserved - even now without
the sea lapping at the sides, it is still virtually impenetrable.
Getting across to Pararaha Point is probably best achieved with a
swim of about 100m. I found a mask, snorkel and flippers useful.
The other side is typically long grass with the odd thistle bush to
avoid.
Cache is an uncamoed 200ml sistema.
