The Wicomico Geocache Dash is a virtual trail that takes cachers to 22
sites located throughout Wicomico County.
The locations feature Wicomico's "Hidden Treasures" - parks, museums,
historical buildings, and waterways.
The Wicomico Geocache Dash is a Challenge trail and works
on a Passport system.
There are no alternate requirements to finding and logging this cache!
However, if you would like to complete the Challenge and be eligible for the
limited edition commemorative coin,
you must -
record the Code Word on your Passport, sign the logbook,
and take a picture of yourself with the container,
log your find online, and attach your picture to your log.

2011 Wicomico Geocache Dash
In the summer of 2008, Bordeleau opened and became the first winery
and tasting room in Wicomico County.
They are located in Eden, Maryland, nestled between the gentle slopes
of the Wicomico Creek.
Wildlife is abundant in the area. While you’re caching be sure to
look up to see bald eagles, ospreys, great blue herons and snowy egrets.
Grapes at Bordeleau are hand harvested and made into world-class wines.
The owner of Bordeleau, Tom Shelton, claims that the climate here is very
similar to the favorable climate in the Bordeaux region of France,
which allows him to grow eleven different varieties of
grapes on the vineyard.
