Log only and, as always, bring your own weapon of choice of writers and authors. Be stealthy as you search for it. Parking might be difficult and/or expensive. So, put on a pair of walking shoes and enjoy the views of the city.
One cold, snowy and miserable day in February, my wife sent me to the grocery store suddenly to go get some last few things we needed for dinner that night. I ask why the rush, but she hurried me out the door. I didn’t think much of it and headed to the store.
Just so you know, I enjoy grocery shopping and probably always will. I will walk up and down each aisle looking at what they have to offer. Since the store I go to is known as a “one-stop-shop”, it means that I can be there for hours.
After I had gotten what I needed and taking almost 40 minutes to do so, I decided to head home. When I arrived home (to my apartment by the way) I noticed that someone had parked in my designated spot. Humph! Since there is no visitor parking in my complex, I had to park on the street and walk to my place with several bags of groceries.
I walked into my place, set the bags down and began to put away the groceries. I was a bit in a grump at this point, being up all night from working and then all day (it was my “Friday”), I was not in the mood for much else. In the middle of doing this, my wife asks me to come in the living room. I tell I’d be there in minute after I put away the groceries. She then asks me again to come into the living room and that she has a surprise for me. Again, being in no mood for much of anything at this point I stop what I’m doing and walk into the living room. What I saw before me had me stunned and almost speechless. Sitting in my living room was one of my best friends, Amy and her husband, Frank. My bad mood was immediately gone.
The next day we rode the Max over to downtown, had a wonderful lunch and then headed over to a well-known book store. Frank didn’t necessarily want to stay there, so I asked him if he wanted to do some geocaching. He has heard of it through me and I decided to give him a general idea of what it is, urban caching at least. We walked around downtown in a snow flurry. We found some, DNF’ed some others, overall, not a bad afternoon. Once the snow let up and sun kind of creeped out, Frank and I saw this wonderful looking building with its magnificent bell tower. We walked over and checked it out as a thought formulated in my head.
Ok, so it’s a long story about me putting this multi-cache out. Yea, yea, I get it.
Ok, so the above coordinates get you to the first location. It will be easier to walk to each spot than it will be to drive and find parking (and probably cheaper too!). I did all my calculations without a decimal point, just a helpful hint.

The above coordinates are where you need to start. You will find the answers at this site.
1. What is the date on the large cornerstone?
2. When was the community that attends this location organized?
3. When was this location’s third edifice given?
4. What is the address of this location?
Now add answers 1+4 =A and 2+3 =B
Next take dummy coordinates N 45° 27.988 + A and W 122° 44.699 - B. This will take you to the next location.

This next location should be recognizable to just about anyone. It is a nice tribute to a man who did quite a bit for this country. I am giving one of two spoiler answers in this cache because the answers are not at the location. Spoiler #1 here is 16. It will make sense once you get there.
1. How many letters are in the name of the man who stands above you?
2. How many letters in the name of the man who created the tribute?
3. What is the date that this tribute was created?
Take answers #1, #2, Spoiler #1 and multiply these three numbers to get C. Answer #3 equals D.
N 45° 33.873 - C and W 122° 39.044 + D. The next spot is not too far.

This next location is yet another tribute to another great man in U.S. History. Ok, so it can be debated, but he was a rough character and was not someone to be trifled with. Spoiler #2 here is 26. It will also make sense when you get there.
1. What is this man’s name? How many letters are in this man’s name?
2. Go to the other side. What was the name of the man who made this tribute? How many letters are in his name?
3. What year was this tribute lit by the Cultural District Council?
Now multiply answers #1, #2 and Spoiler #2 together and subtract them from N 45° 37.016. Take answer #3 and add that number to W 122° 39.037. Not too bad of a walk to the next stage.

Frank and I were drawn to this next location by its tall tower reaching into the snow-filled sky. We were starting to get cold at this point, so I got my info and we kept moving.
1: What is the name of the location? Multiply the number of letters in each word together.
2: When was this location organized?
3: What is the name of the intersection this location is on? Take the number of letters in the word and multiply it by the 12 on the sign.
4. In the pavement is a name imprinted in the concrete. How many letters are capitalized?
Now, add answers #1 and #3 together and then multiply that with answer #4. Take that total and add it to N 45° 27.365. Take answer #2 and add that to W 122° 39.221. And off we go to the next place!

This was another spot that actually intrigued me. I really liked the stone tower on this one. You can find the answers easily here.
1. What is the name of this place? Multiply the number of letters in each word together.
2. Inside the gate (it was closed when I stopped here) there is a verse on the wall. What are the numbers that verse is found? Use these numbers as a whole (example 24:3 = 243) to get your answer.
Now add answer #1 to N 45° 30.926 and #2 to W 122° 40.558 to take you to your final destination.
I hope you have enjoyed your walk, because I sure did, even in the cold. Now go find it and please be stealthy about it. Good luck and Happy Caching!

Congrats to AnnabellesMonkey and Nogs for the FTF and also showing me the errors in my multicache ways. Thanks!
You are the best!
