Die historische Schanze am Mittelmühlplatz in Bellheim ist original neu rekonstruiert worden und wurde 2010 der Bellheimer Bevölkerung als Denkmal übergeben.Der Verteidigungswall trennte vor mehr als hundert Jahren Deutschland und Frankreich.
