Geocache Description:

This cache is inspired by the "What's That On The Map 2" cache in Devon, by Maliplex & Trublatmill.

There is no point in going to the published co-ordinates, even if you had a boat.  Solve the puzzle below to find the cache co-ordinates.

NOTE:  This geocache will be archived on 31st August.

You can solve the puzzle using OS Landranger Maps 194 & 195.  Start at Poole, grid SZ 0190
Or you can solve it online. This link will take you to the start point on Streetmap.
Note that the scale must be set to 1:50,000 for you to see the correct map symbols.

To solve the puzzle simply follow the list of instructions, moving from 1km square to 1km square in the direction indicated until you find the appropriate map symbol.
So from the start point move South examining each 1km square until you find one that contains a Clubhouse.
Then, from the centre of that 1km square move North East until you find a Walks/Trails symbol.
And so on, and so on..

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

There is no pen in the cache so please take your own.
Muggles may be a problem at GZ, especially in Summer.  At certain times of day there may be semi-permanent muggles: you'll know what I mean if you see one.  Please ensure the cache is unobtrusive when replaced.

There's free parking in the nearby side streets.

This cache is placed with the kind permission of Poole's Greenspace Maintenance Team.
The cache is in a SSSI, so please take your usual care when searching and retrieving the cache. There is no need to wander from the marked pathways.

There are 2 approaches to the cache. One is down a series of steps and so is a no-no for wheelchair users. The other is flat and level except for 2 short inclines. I don't think wheelchair users would have any problem, but if you are not motorised you might want to take a helper, just in case.

After finding the cache why not sit awhile and take in the views. They're not too shabby. If you climb a few steps to one of the higher benches the views are even more impressive. If you are lucky you might catch one of the superb sunsets for which this area is renowned.
