Geocache Description:

This is our first cache which is placed in beautiful countryside. its accessible by walkers and dogs but not suitable for wheel chairs or buggies. Accessible in all weathers 24/7 should take less than an hour. During the day beware of muggles walking dogs. Please note that there is no need to venture too far into the spinny, and please feel free to use our resting place :-)

This traditional cache is our first to be placed. It’s placed in memory of our little Jack Russell Poppy. After 18 lovely years of village life Poppy left us. She will be sorely missed. So we decided to put this cache at a place she loved to visit and play. The cache is a traditional type and we have added a variety of items to be swapped. We have also added three travel bugs. One is registered to us, one is registered to our mum and one registered to our sister and her husband. The idea is to see which bug travels the furthest each month. A race between us all. The cache is a medium size clip top waterproof container This is one of Poppies favourite places to play, it’s located well away from the roads but is easily accessible by walkers and dogs and is a lovely place to sit a while. If you’re lucky you might catch sight of some interesting wildlife or gliders on a sunny day. The cache is located on the boundary of private land so please don’t venture into adjacent filed. And please watch where you stand so that no wild flowers are damaged. This area is frequented by many rabbits by the look of the land but you’re looking for somewhere which is NOT exclusive to the woodpeckers. PLEASE make sure this wonderful hiding place is left as you find it as it is also visited by many many Muggles and there inquisitive dogs. This should take no more than 15 minutes walk from the car parking area and can be accessed by one or two different routes but isn’t accessible for wheelchairs or buggies Hope you enjoy finding this cache and the beautiful walks around this village as much as we do. Look out for more caches to appear soon. This is temporarily down. New land owners have fenced off the land where I placed the cache. It was moved to the boundary but looks like its no longer cut back. I'll try to relocate it in the next couple of weeks 👍
