BRING A TORCH, and approach from the top path. (GPS was accurate to 4m when setting the co ordinates)
Please note: This site is located within a steep rocky edge below the path. Falling down the edge could result in serious injury, children should be kept close by at all times and not allowed to wander.
Although this location is hidden from nearby paths, it is well known locally, so you may not be alone for long.
You probably won’t notice on your way in, but coming out and on the rocks by the entrance to your left, are carvings inscribed by persons unknown.
You will find Troglodyte 'snug and warm'. PLEASE take care when returning it to its resting place, to ensure it is left as you found it and that everything is secure.
