This cache will lead you past the infamous Medfield State Hospital on an escape into the Medfield State Forest along the Charles River Link trail. Medfield State Hospital was one of the film locations for the 2010 film Shutter Island starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Ben Kingsley.
No major bushwhacking is required. The stages of the cache are placed within the Medfield State Forest. The hospital grounds are now open to the public. It's worth a visit. Also, take some time to stop at the bluff overlooking Rocky Narrows.
