ALL OVER THE WORLD.BY 1873, 116,000 TONS OF SLATE WERE SHIPPED OUT
OF PORTHMADOG.
THE SLATE WAREHOUSES HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY HOLIDAY APARTMENTS, AND
THE HARBOUR WITH LESISURE YACHTS.
