Handymoo: We came to do some maintenance today and despite a thorough search we just could not find the cache. The last time we checked on the cache it was somewhere that it wouldn't have migrated to and seems to be out in the open a lot despite the good hint. Where we hid it you should never have been able to see it from the path especially if it was tucked back properly.

Sadly we decided to archive it, thank you to everyone who visited and took the time to write a nice log and wish us Happy Anniversary. In a couple of years it will be 40 years, so who knows we may place another one.

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary on March 22nd 2011.
We were married on March 22nd 1986 in Stamford.
This cache is placed on a footpath in the village of Barnack where we met all those years ago.
Handy was in the Royal Air Force at Wittering and used to frequent the local hostelry when he was off duty. Moo lived in the village with her family (mum and dad still live there) and used to play darts for the local hostelry ladies darts team and this was where we met.
We were posted away to RAF Coningsby just after we were married. After 10 years at RAF Coningsby, Handy was posted back to RAF Wittering and our son went to Barnack C of E Primary School, which is where Moo went to school as well.
The rest as they say is history.
We are happy to celebrate our special day with our Geocaching friends and family.
Why not take a look around the village, St John The Baptist Church and the Hills and Holes (next to the parking coords)
