LZ33: ### This geocache is off limits! ###

If you have made plans to seek this geocache within November 6, 2017 through December 12, 2017, you'll need to cancel and reschedule your plans.

The US Army Corps of Engineers (property management) has issued several of the islands and surrounding lake property to be off limits during this time. These properties will only be open to registered deer hunters.

It's not acceptable to alter your 'found it' log date to outside the ban period and still visit the geocache during the geocaching ban.

Please be a good geocaching citizen and do not visit this geocache or the property where the container is located during this time frame. This will help ensure a great geocaching relationship with the property management.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Geocache Description:

This is a puzzle cache and the cache is not at the posted coordinates.

This is an old school, in the woods, bushwhacking required .30 cal ammo can cache. There are no trails here. It's a wild and undisturbed area that few humans have visited.

The terrain is hilly but it's not too bad. I hid this cache in shorts and a pair of Crocs on a hot August day.

As I was scouting a place to hide this cache I jumped a couple of deer very close to this spot. And I found the bed of another deer right where I stood. A deer bed looks like a flattened oval in the leaves. And if you look real close you'll often find white hairs in it from the deer's belly.

To make it a little more interesting, you'll have to solve a puzzle first to get the final coordinates. Follow the instructions and you should be able to zero in on the cache in no time.

If you take a trade item, please replace it with something of equal or greater value. Above all, leave no trace of your visit to this cache. And re-hide it in the precise location you found it.

Hope you enjoy this cache!
