Geocache Description:

Brush Creek Villas in Rincon Valley is a large townhouse complex nestled against the Montecito Hills. Built in the late 1970's this development consists of approximately 100 townhomes. Bush Creek Villas are built with a Spanish/Mediterranean style, displaying stucco walls, and tile roofs. The development is made up of two streets; Adobe Drive and Shady Oak. The homes are generally placed in groups of four to six homes, each group having its own cul de sac off the one of the two main roads. Generally the homes on the left and right are two story with the homes in the rear being all one story. The homes are all single detached except for the garages, which share a common wall.

Brush Creek Villas

This cache is located at the entrance to the Brush Creek Villas Townhouses. I originally wanted this cache to be in Brush Creek Park, but there happens to be another cache in that park that prohibited me from placing mine. So upon learning of that cache, I had to find a new spot. I found a great spot, but I was still only 417 feet from the other cache. So off to find another great spot. I found it here. Cache is a custom painted screw top container that has plenty of room for travel bugs and trinkets. I'll try to keep it stocked. There is not, however, a writing utensil so please bring your own. You should be fairly protected from muggle view, but do be wary of them. Also, you should be able to park within twenty feet of the hiding spot. While you're in the neighborhood, if you've not found our Scout's Cache (GC2J493), try it too. Happy Hunting!
