Saturday,
April 2,2011 the Tall Ships....the Lady Washington and the Hawaiian
Chieftain will be docked at the Coos Bay Boardwalk. Dockside Tours
will be available from 10AM till 1PM on Saturday ( Donations will
be Accepted ). We highly recommend taking the tour of the Ships if
you have never seen them upclose, Don't forget to bring your
cameras.
At 12:00
Noon we will meet Upstairs at Benetti's Italian Restaurant for
Lunch and Geochat. Mr. Benetti has offered us several choices of
Pasta dishes, salad, and Drinks for a fee of $10.00 per person plus
$3.00 gratuity.
At 2PM the
Ships will leave the dock and perform their mock Battle out on the
Bay along the waterfronts of Coos Bay and North Bend. The Battle
reinactment includes Loud Cannon fire and tight manuvering to get a
clear shot at the other ship.

interested in participating in the 3 Hour "Battle Sail" aboard the
Lady Washington or the Hawiian Chieftain, advance Tickets are
available online at www.historicalseaport.org, It is advised to get
Tickets in advance to guarantee a space on either Ship. Ticket
prices,$40 under 12, $50 for Senior or Student, $60 for Adult.
"Battle Sails" will take place on both Saturday and Sunday at
2PM.
