This cache and May 1 is placed on a circular walk around the Southern Shifnal area. I recommend you start at St Andrews church, and the walk will be just over six kilometres, you should be able to find many other Geocache's on this walk, one is by the church . The area is liked by dog walkers, so you may have to hang about to get a chance of finding it with out a dog walker seeing you. Please use the lower path to approach the cache, it is much easier than from the top path. The location was recorded with my Garmin Vista HCx GPS, if your GPS is not as good you may find that under the tree cover you won't get a signal, but it is a small section of wood land so a good hunt around and you should find the Geocache, plus the hint will help, don't look at the hint if you have a good GPS, it's more fun. If your GPS point's you down a slippery bank, turn left and go to a path that will take you down closer to the location, and you won't have slide down the slop. PLEASE DON'T SLIDE DOWN THE SLIPPERY BANK TO THE CACHE, SO MANY PEOPLE COMMENT ON HOW SLIPPERY THE BANK IS, SO DON'T DO IT. TAKE THE PATH, AND IT'S AN EASY WALK TO THE CACHE. A lot of people have had difficulty finding this one, the "Hint" was a reference to a character in Lord of the Rings, but a lot did not know that, so I have just changed the hint to something easier, so if you can't find a character from Lord of the Rings with the Cache, look at the hint. The cache was placed with the help of my brother, who lives local and will be maintaining the cache. This cache and May 1, 3, is in memory of our mother 21/09/19-19/02/11
