Access to this cache is along a mainly even asphalt bridleway path, although the bridleway is slightly uphill and uneven at the upper end.This cache is possibly accessible for wheelchair users,
The cache is a 35mm Black Film Cannister When placed, cache contained log sheet with geocaching info sheet, pen, FTF certificate & a couple of small swaps. Cache can be a quick cache & dash, or you can continue further down the Bridleway & explore the lovely Alexandra Park. The Bridleway runs from Vale Road up to St Helens Road with a couple of footpaths leading off it, in various directions. There is on road parking both ends of the Bridleway. The Bridleway Path is generally quite flat, but slightly uphill & uneven towards the top leading up to St Helens Road. It can get a bit muddy in places in wet weather. Although only occasionally used by horses these days it is well used by walkers. Please look out for dog walkers - they have a habit of sneaking up on you here as they walk silently. Please use stealth, & replace cache well hidden. ** AS PER GEOCACHING RULES YOU CAN ONLY CLAIM A FIND IF YOU SIGN THE LOG SHEET **
