Geocache Description:

First form of communications over distance in Thailand?

A huge flag pole that was used in the old days to announce the arriving and departing ships and which company they belonged to. Then it was used to broadcast the weather. Since the modern day with wireless and now internet the pole has no use and the signals have ceased to be used.
