Geocache Description:

This one of the smallest parks in Keokuk. It is the spot that several hundred Mormans settled briefly in 1853 just prior to traveling west to Utah. There were so many camping at this spot that it doubled the size of Keokuk from 3256 in 1853. When the Mormans left, they had 360 wagons, with ten people per wagon.

The cache is a matchstick case.
