The cache is located in the new Wellington Environmental Preserve. This great new wetland preserve has paved walks, boardwalks and lots of nature sightseeing so bring your binoculars and camera. The round trip walk when taking the most direct route to the cache will be just over 2 miles but the most direct route avoids the boardwalks so your route may be longer depending on what you want to see.The park is open from 8:00 to 5:00 every day.
There are 2 kinds of well rounded cachers, and I don't mean men or women. There's the type of cacher that needs a little exercise while enjoying their caching hobby and then there's the type that want to find caches of all different terrains and difficulties. This cache will help both types of Well Rounded Cachers. There seems to be a real shortage out there for certain types of caches, especially those with an increased terrain difficulty. This cache is the 1st in a series that I hope helps the 2nd type of Well Rounded Cacher meet some of his (or her) caching statistical goals. I hope someone else also undertakes well rounded caches because I need 'em too! I suggest doing this cache early to allow yourself time to relax and enjoy the scenery. There are some other quality caches to search for on your way here also. The walk to the cache is shortest from the north parking area.
