Church Micro 1685...Steppingley
This cache is now a tube similar in diameter to a film pot but about three times taller. It contains just a log, so I recommend you bring your own pen / pencil. Please note that the final cache is located outside the churchyard and is NOT accessible from inside the churchyard. Parking is available in the village, including outside of the church.

The church of St. Lawrence, rebuilt in 1860 by the Duke of Bedford and the rector, is a building of local sandstone in the Early Decorated and Perpendicuiar styles, consisting of chancel, nave, north aisle and a tower containing 4 bells : it is seated with open oak benches for 240 persons. The register dates from 1562, but is continuous only from 1647. The church is usually open to visitors. Please take time to explore its peace and tranquility. Please be respectful in the church and its grounds. Take care not to trip over the hoards of rabbits or their holes.
To find the location of the final cache, you will need to visit the published coordinates and search for shared grave of Thomas Phillips and Joseph Beaumont Phillips. Thomas died on November Ath 19BC, aged DE and Joseph died on January FGth 19HJ, aged KL.
The final cache can be found at North 52 0G.(B+C+H)(D+F)(L-J) West 000 3J.(A-H)(D-C)(B-C-E-F+K)
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
