HighCountryAdmin: I am archiving this defunct geocache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

Regular size cache hiding in a 'native' sliver of Eisenhower Park, alongside the highline canal. Ample room for trinkets, bugs, and coins.

This park is named after 'Mamie' Doud Eisenhower, First Lady of the United States from 1953 to 1961. Mamie Geneva Doud spent much of her childhood in Colorado, and married Army Second Lieutenant Dwight D. Eisenhower on July 1, 1916 in the Dowd Family home in Denver. A very popular First Lady, Mamie Eisenhower frequently appeared on "Most Admired Women" lists until her death in 1979.

This is the GeoDomz family's first cache hide. We've had so much fun finding caches, we thought we would try hiding one in our own neighborhood. There is a nearby playground, swimming pool, and city recreation center. Also, there is a foot bridge over the canal about a block east of the cache at Bellaire street. Enjoy the cache!
