First things first...do NOT attempt this one from I-4...it is
not intended to be a park & grab from the highway. If I find
out you've done it by parking along I-4 and jumping the fence, your
log will be DELETED. You have been warned.
Welcome to Longleaf Pine Preserve!
I highly recommend a bike or horse to reach this cache as it's a
pretty long hike from the parking area. Bring plenty of water. Cell
phone reception was pretty good, so you have a lifeline in case of
an emergency.
A couple of miles up the Red trail you'll find the trail head for
the Green Trail. Terrain is a little rough on the Green
trail...easy walking, a little technical on a mountain bike. I know
I put a pen in this one...can't remember if there's a FTF
Buck...but you're not way out here for a lousy buck, you're here
for the journey, right?
Should be an easy find with the hint...this one is all about the
journey!
