GRASSLAND RESTORATION PROJECT
To ensure this area can sustain a healthy grassland ecology, (we) are in the process of a multi-year restoration project. This project will establish more warm season grasses, remove hedgerows bisecting the grasslands, increase the number and quality of habitat boxes and redirect and improve trails. Wanting to find out about the "Pedestrian Access" listed on Google Maps led to the end of a mysterious Thosmor Rd., a Green Acres Trail head is located at the end of the road but a polite but curt note was put on my car on my third visit while researching and placing GZ, the note states Thosmor is a private road and parking should be had on River Road, See Waypoint. This increases the hike, but that's half the fun of a smiley!
