Birdseye Creek Road is very interesting. It is paved for a couple miles, then becomes gravel and splits two ways.
This is the first cache in a series we have placed along a loop from BLM Rd 37-4-4.1 to Savage Creek Road 37-5-1. This is our idea of a 'power trail'. You will need a powerful, high clearance vehicle, 4x4 if it is wet or snowy, fresh batteries in the GPS, and a hiking stick is advisable too. No cache is smaller than a peanut butter jar either. So, plan to spend a few hours caching your way around the mountain!!
This camoed peanut butter jar, with several trade items and a log book, is not far beyond the gate on a side road. No need to climb over the boulders, just take the path on the right to the back of the pile. Have fun on your adventure!!
