Fairly easy cache situated on the edge of rural township Please remember to bring a pen.
Located in an Apex park on the Eastern outskirts of Leongatha a rural dairying district in South Gippsland there are facilities here to stop for lunch sit down and let the kids run off a bit of energy. This is a fairly easy cache but you will need to bring your own pen.
Visit Leongatha in the foothills of South Gippsland's Strzelecki Ranges – a lovely country town with a population around 5000. Home to the largest co-operative dairy in the southern hemisphere. Originally settled on cleared forests of the western Strzeleckis, Leongatha and the surrounding countryside were dotted with rich dairy farms from the 1870s onwards. The opening of the South Gippsland Railway in 1892 boosted development as more forests were cleared to make way for cattle grazing.
