Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Ludlow Tuart Forest at Membenup Picnic Site. A great place to stop for a snack and to chew it under the Tuarts. The cache is a plastic container located at ground level. Unfortunately somebody stole the ammo can from this location so we've had to replace the cache in a slightly different position.

The cache is now a plastic container very low down where it cannot be seen if covered properly. You might find it easiest using your hands or a stick to lightly tap the ground until you hear the metallic report.

When replacing the cache please be sure to completely cover the lid with leaf litter.

The information boards give a graphic display of the history of the local timber industry that very nearly wiped out the last stand of Tuart Forest in Western Australia. Chew slowly as you read....

.

Congratulations to the Busselton Bunch: Pood, Barjgods and Geogypsys on their very fast FTF....
