Hidetada Tokugawa was the second shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
このあたりは｢化粧面｣と呼ばれる江戸幕府の領地がありました。
２代将軍徳川秀忠の御台所(お江)の化粧料として年貢を納めていた領地で､その名が付けられたと言われています。
この年貢が江姫の生活費となっていたそうです。
