Small and easily accessible cache near downtown Half Moon Bay.

I've always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I see them not so much as places of tragedy and bereavement, but beautiful monuments to the lives that have passed before us, both known and unknown. Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Cemetery in Half Moon Bay is tucked behind the Main St. on a small hill looking out toward the Pacific Ocean. It was opened when the old Pilarcitos Cemetery on Highway 92 was closed.
The older section has fallen into disrepair, but the location itself is peaceful, and if you like visiting graveyards as I do, then it's worth a stop by when you're in the area.
The cache is a micro bison container with a log only. At the time of placement there was a small pencil inside, but not sure how long it will last, so be safe and BYOP. There is no need to disturb the resting to locate the cache! The cache can be found day or night. There is street parking nearby. It's a quiet residential street, but watch for muggles, and generally respect the neighbors.
***Note*** Cache was muggled between 9/22/11 and 9/24/11. Fortunately we came on 9/24 to do a regular maintenance check, noticed it was gone and replaced it with a new micro bison, log sheet and small pencil, so all is good to go again.
