You may only log this cache if you have found all traditional caches within a 3km radius around your home zone (the coordinates you have set at geocaching.com). The following rules apply.
- You may not change your home zone to make this cache easier for you.
- You may not ignore any caches (the start/public coordinates are important) with the exception of those mentioned below
- Any cache placed by you. You must however - at the time of logging this cache - fulfill any of your own challenges located within your home zone (proof required as requested in your cache! Point 5 does not apply in this case!).
- Event caches (all kinds) can be ignored.
- Other challenge caches that can only be accomplished by spending a great deal of money may be ignored (e.g. find caches placed in each month since geocaching has come to live). If you have a cache like this in your home zone please contact me. Caches that can be ignored will be listed here.
- Caches that have been "temporarily disabled" for more than 3 weeks can be ignored.
To proof you fulfill the challenge requirements you need to do the following:
- Go to www.geocaching.com and do the following:
- Append &f=1&cFilter=32bc9333-5e52-4957-b0f6-5a2c8fc7b257 to the URL. This makes sure only traditional caches not found by you are displayed.
- You should now see something like this:
If the distance for you is greater than 3km you are good! Make a screen shot and blur any personal information.
- Now there is one last thing to check! Do you have any caches on your ignore list that are within the 3km zone? If not make a screen shot of this too.
- Go and find the challenge cache
- Compose your log. You need to attach the two screen shots and I ask you to mention your three most memorable caches within the home zone (they don't have to be good, just memorable!).
