Sweet Child o' Time Traditional Cache

FelineBlue80: I went by earlier today to check on this cache. When I first hid it, there were bushes all around the monument. Due to flooding/freezing of the area a lot of the bushes died. As they died, they were removed, it just so happens that the bush that had held the cache was also taken. As such, the cache is no more. I've decided to archive, but I do hope to place another cache in my friend's honor in the not so distant future.

Geocache Description:


This is my first hide, so please bare with me. I had planned to place this near to the grave of a dear family friend we lost last June, not wanting to step on other cache's toes I decided to take a walk down from his grave to see what the curious monument was. When I read through all the poems (there's a different one on each side), I decided this was the perfect place to hide it and it was a
perfect distance away from the other caches that are in the area.

So while it's not by his grave, I dedicate this to our friend who we lost after his five year battle to brain cancer. The title of the cache comes from both a song that he introduced me to "Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns N Roses and to the monument to Time that the cache is hidden near.

You are looking for a camouflaged pill bottle that's about 3in high and an inch and a half wide. First to Find will get a custom made FTF charm with my mascot on it. There are other little goodies in the bottle as well, including a piece of amethyst that had been gifted to me by aforementioned friend. I pass it on someone else who may need more healing that I do now and may find some use of this precious gem of healing.

This is hidden in a cemetery so remember Dawn to Dusk caching only. Please put thecache back where you found it so that the next person can find it.
