This cache is a tribute to one of my favourite TV shows, "Monk," about a very brilliant, but very neurotic detective who struggles with obsessive compulsive disorder.
For those of you not familiar with the show, Detective Adrian Monk notices (and complains about) nearly everything, much to the annoyance of the people around him. (He was once very self-conscious that one of his shirt buttons was threaded differently than the others!) But his keen observation usually provides just the clue he needs to solve the case. If he was a geocacher, he would find them all within seconds!
Although the series takes place in San Francisco, the first season was filmed in Toronto and the surrounding area; in fact one scene was shot on this very street corner! (Mississauga City Hall was the setting for the "Hall of Justice.") The image below is a still from the episode "Mr. Monk Goes to the Carnival."
Once you get to the cache location, you should recognize the place!
Cache is small with no room for trading items. Please be careful with it and try to put it back as you found it. And remember to bring your own writing implement.
Note: You do not have to be a fan of Monk to find this cache ... but it certainly helps!
