You are looking for a Lock N' Lock 4" x 4"
While out on a cross country adventure I placed this one.
DM is at it again. Yup, another adventure. This one will take you to a secluded quiet place on Lock Ridge portion of Holston Mountain
Cache is on top of Lock Ridge where two trails from below meet up. Big Arm and Feather Ridge meet up near here.
Your choice as to how you approach this one.
Placed this one while out on a cross country adventure.
Some old roads and trails to follow.
Shouldn't be too many that make it to this spot.
I've added some coordinates here since I get some emails about where to start on this adventure.
N 36 24.080' W 82 12.554' Is approx where I parked, hiked up then found a logging road, then a FS road. There is another trail indicated on the TOPO map at N 36 24.633' W 82 11.769' You might be able to find an actual trail there.
Please place cache back, covered and leave no trace.
CITO is always a great idea, especially in this remote secluded area. Bring a trash bag and pack out any trash you see.
You might want to bring a camera. Bring water and a snack, you'll be glad you did.
Please do not leave water bottles or insect repellent bottles in the cache. They leak and damage the contents. Also, please do not leave any food products or anything that smells like food (i.e. fruit scented items). Animals will find and destroy the cache if you do. Thanks.
