The cache is around Takao Railway Museum.
The KRT orange line terminates at Xizihwan terminal. Around there, a railway station was built in 1900, and had been supporting the development of Kaohsiung.
Originally the station is called as Kaohsiung main station. In 1941, the developing center moves to north, the station changes its name to Kaohsiung port station, and Kaohsung main station moved to the current location.
Until 2008, fleight line was under operation, but now the relics of station, parts of facilities and some trains are remaining. In 2008 KMRT starts its operation and Xiziwan terminal opens at almost the same place. In 2010, the Railway Museum opened at the relics of the station.
The cache is hidden at a steam locomotive. You can enter into the GZ without problem, but (as the display advices) touchig the steam locomotive is not recommended. The cache can be found without touching for searching, so if you cannot find it, please read the hint. The cache container is a PET bottle cap (Nagoya/Osaka style micro).
