Geocache Description:

This cache is placed with permission of Story County Conservation at Robison Wildlife Acres, south of Nevada. Please adhere to park rules and follow marked trails as much as possible. Cache is hidden about 20' from the trail. Thank you for taking time to visit Story County's natural areas!

When I contacted SCC about placing a cache out here, I was stunned that nobody had thought about putting one here before. This is an area virtually unknown to anyone around here. I grew up around here and I just recently knew this place even existed. I don't want others to miss out on this beautiful piece of woodland, so I had to put a cache out here.

Make sure to stay away from Izaak, the gun-happy neighbor to the north. Sometimes when the weather is nice his friends come for a visit and they like to have shooting parties. Just make sure to stay on the trail and south of the fence line and he won't bother you.

You are looking for a medium-sized camo'd lock-n-lock container. This container is definitely large enough to fit travel bugs and geocoins. Please be sure that the container is locked back up tightly and that it is placed exactly as you found it.

Unless you enjoy walking through huge drifts this might be difficult to access during the winter. Please use your best judgement. Stay off the pond to the south of the main trail.

The container has an "FTF" pathtag for the first finders. You will also find a log book, pencil and some of the usual trade items.

*Congrats to MaRchforTh on the FTF!*
