DK: Den
glemte sti:
Efter at
have været på cachejagt i bydelen Sanderum, kom jeg forbi et sted,
hvor det så ud som om der var en forladt sti. Nær jernbaneviadukten
på Kløvermosevej førte en lille trappe op til en asfalteret sti af
nogenlunde kvalitet. Den bar tydelig præg af ikke at have været
vedligeholdt, men jeg havde fornemmelsen af at man i sin tid havde
kræset for kvaliteten. Jeg fulgte stien og blev mere og mere spændt
på, hvad der ventede for enden. Pludseligt, lige så spændende og
fordækt som den startede, sluttede den brat ved en bar og
uinteressant plet bag en lokal fodboldklubs hus.
Går man lidt
længere hen ad stien er dog et lidt interessant sted: Et
jernbanekryds. Her svinger Svendborgbanen mod syd og krydser
jernbanen mod Jylland. Det eneste sted i Odense, hvor en jernbane
krydser en anden jernbane. Et godt sted til
train-spotting.
ENG.: The forgotten footpath:
After being on a cache hunt in the
suburb of Sanderum, I
passed a place that looked like an abandoned footpath. Near
the railway bridge on Kløvermosevej, a
small flite of stairs lead to an
aspfalt path of an OK quality. It was
clear that the path hadn’t been maintained for quite a while,
but I had the sense that it had once been established with care. I
followed the path and became more and more excited as to what was
turn up in the end. Suddenly, just as exciting as it started, it
ended at a dull and baron spot behind a football club
house.
If you proceed just a
bit fourther though, an interesting
place turns up: A train intersection. Right here the railway bound
for Svendborg turns south
and crosses the railway headed for Jutland. The only place
in Odense where one railway crosses another. A good place for
train-spotting.
