6th Annual Rawlins Brownbag Event

And 2011 WAG State Event!
It is almost time again for the
Annual Rawlins Brownbag event. This event will be held at
Washington Park here in Rawlins again. We have had it at this park
5 of the 6 years that it has been held because all the facilities
are here and it is a lovely area. Last year, we got rained out and
ended up having the event at our house. It was not the best
location but we as hardy geocachers made the best of it and had a
good time anyway.
This edition of the Brownbag will be just like last year except we
will hopefully be able to have a full-fledged geopoker run. Last
year, I had all 5 containers placed and the coordinates set up but
when it was obvious the rain was going to keep us from running all
over town finding containers, the process was changed. I am hopeful
the weather will be nice this year and we can hold the poker run as
it was designed to be done.

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration / Meet and Greet
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch
1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. GeoPoker Run
2:30 p.m.: Raffle drawings
3:00 p.m.: WAG Meeting
We will supply soda and water as well as cake and green chili as in
previous events. Please bring a bag lunch of some kind for your
group for lunch. We hope to see you here in Rawlins in June and
