I have two favorite artists. Bev Doolittle [LINK] is one of America’s most collected artists. Her paintings are crowded with intricate visual detail, haunted by presences seen and unseen. Her paintings captivate the viewer on many levels. She is often called a “camouflage artist” because her distinctive use of context, design and pattern help viewers discover meanings which seem hidden only until they become obvious. She could be a prolific geocacher because her camouflage art epitomizes some of the best puzzles and hidden caches in the world.
My other favorite artist is my granddaughter, Jessica. Unlike Bev Doolittle, she’s not a published artist, YET, but she’s well on her way to establishing herself as an up-and-coming photographer. The pictures she captures with her camera are absolutely amazing. She has an eye for the beauty of nature around her. We can both take pictures of the same thing, but my pictures are just pictures and hers are a thing of beauty. She’s already won gold and silver awards in state competitions.
In honor of both of these artists, I am placing this cache. It is my hope that it will challenge my puzzle solving geocaching friends in the same way that these artists are challenged each day as they work at improving their skills.

PLEASE NOTE: The original cache location is gone due to new housing development. Once you get the checker to smile on you, subtract .019 from the north coordinates and add .037 to the west coordinates to get to the new location. DO NOT ADD THE OFF SET BEFORE CHECKING YOUR ANSWER WITH THE GEOCHECKER!
