The cache is located in an old woodland, not far from a bird feeding station.This is a good area for bluebells. Notice how the path crosses the small stream with dam like embankments.
It's a pleasant walk to this location (with good views) from the Apedale Country Park top car park, which is off Blackbank Road.
The cache is a blue topped, small tupperware type box, containing a log, pencil and some swaps.
P.S. If going on to Silver Ape - Sleeping Beech, that the fields between the two caches are privately owned farm land and not part of Apedale Country Park... a path running close to the woodland boundary should be used.
