Geocache Description:

PLEASE DON'T PARK ON BUNKER LAKE BLVD!!

Lots of room for trackables and other miscellanery.

Congrats to Langlie, Blueirocguy and Khoda for grabbing the FTF!

This one will be kid friendly, family friendly and in a GREAT park.

Bunker Hills Regional Park has horseback riding , snowshoeing and cross country skiing, swimming and water slides at the Bunker Beach Water Park, playgrounds and fields to play, biking trails, hiking, miles of paved trails as well as forest paths, 27 holes of awesome golf course (and an executive 9), camping, archery, picnicking, and of course GEOCACHING! There are about 8 caches including a Whereigo, several traditionals, a virtual and a puzzle or two!

Bunker Hills is also home to the Anoka County Veteran's Memorial and it is remarkable.

I tried to hide a cache near here for my first hide during the Spring of '10- and Surfer Joe taught me that there's more to it that just plunking a Jif jar in the woods. SO almost a year later I know the ropes little better and I finally got around to attaining the approval and such.

Some years during the Fall there is an archery deer hunt allowed in this park and this cache will be temporarily archived during those times.

Have fun!
