Spirit of Salts, Moyhu Traditional Cache

.A series of caches designed to highlight the discontinued railway line that ran from Wangaratta to Whitfield and return. All the caches are placed near the original sidings and stops and in all cases are easily accessed from the road. Care should be taken when crossing the road and parking as this is a relatively busy country road.

Moyhu

Possibly one of the busiest sidings along the route with the Moyhu butter factory being a major source of freight to and from. This siding was situated at 16 mile 34 chain from the Wang end. Apparently the Butter factory was known as Hanson's Dairy Co in the early days.

Across the road is a delightful little park in which you could have a break and a picnic or barby, Whatever you wish!
