There used to be a cache in this area, but the owner took it
away with them when they moved. My "Come for a Swim" has had many
visitors over the past 5 years and I hope this adds a nice
additional walk for those who like to stretch their legs a bit.
There is free parking year round at N50 44 543 W001 41 364 .
There is a large public car park (free in winter) on the cliff top,
off Wharncliffe Road N50 44 281 W001 41 798
Please note - you cannot safely park any nearer than the first
suggestion
The council have recently improved the area, with a new path and
some fencing. However, the drainage wasn't addressed and the path
easily gets muddy! Should be OK for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Take care with young children as there is both a main road, and
waterfall, accessible from near the cache.
You don't need to leave the path to access the
cache!!
