My first day in Bahrain we drove past this well on the corner of the street. I thought it was pretty neat and reminded myself to take a closer look. In between business in KSA and other matters, I didn't get a chance until my last evening. Discovered the well was actually a fountain (dry) with a pool next to it. "Neat place for a cache." I thought. So a quick jog back to my hotel to grab a container and a quick jog back to place it then a fast jog back to the hotel to catch the shuttle to the airport. A local cacher has agreed to help with any possible maintenance issues but with my newly issued 10 year KSA visa, my company has assurred me that I will be back in our Bahrain office often. Good luck...be careful of muggles on this busy street corner. Please also place back as found. Bring your own writing instrument....and drinking water as this well has run dry (at least while I was there - maybe on other days it is flowing).
